Are you managing a project at the Institute and could use some guidance and tools to keep your initiative on track? The following templates and tools will help ensure that your MIT projects stay on schedule, within scope, and under budget.

Project Templates

These templates work with various project management methodologies, including Agile/iterative and waterfall.

Project Baseline Template: Document to be used during the planning phase of a project to help identify key information such as goals, scope, schedule, and budget

Project Kickoff Presentation: Template that captures in-scope, out-of-scope, project structure, projects timeline, project risks, project budget, project logistics, and next steps

Weekly Scorecard: Easy-to-update visual used for understanding health of project (with regards to scope, schedule, budget, and resources)

RAID Log: Register to track risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies

Budget Template: Quick template to track budget

Sponsor Update: Presentation to convey status of project to sponsors and stakeholders

Project Management Workbook: All-in-one workbook that contains tools for tracking project’s progress, risks, resources, and status
